HELP SAVE CORKY

URGENT! CORKY NEEDS YOUR HELP!!On behalf of Community Cats of Owosso, we would like you to meet Corky, a sweet momma cat from Morrice. This lovely lady gave birth several days ago. Sadly one kitten remained inside of her and she has been unable to deliver it. It remains inside her. She became very ill and unable to nurse.  A kind soul found a foster for her other babies who are doing well, but mom needs surgery to have the last baby removed. The usual wonderful vet used by CCoO was closed Friday afternoon, but they were able to contact a vet who had offered to help with emergencies.  She made a house call, confirmed the baby is still inside her, and prescribed antibiotics and some serious pain meds. 

Corky is scheduled to have her surgery first thing Monday morning 4/22. She has a 50/50 chance of surviving. However without the surgery, she has a 0% chance. And this mama is just too sweet and has already been through too much to just give up on her. This is an additional expense (on top of what they have already spent for her up to this point) that CCoO didn’t plan on...But emergencies are never planned. And this is an emergency. 

That’s where YOU come in. Corky will need up to $500 to cover the surgery, any additional meds, and any follow-up vet care. Should the amount raised exceed Corky’s vet bill, the extra will be put towards other CCoO cats needing medical help. PLEASE consider donating to save Corky!
