This poor 8 week old female puppy had an accident and broke her leg.  We need to get it fixed or she might be euthanized.  The funds raised will go to help pay for the surgery she needs to get her leg fixed.  My sister plans on adopting this sweet girl but can't afford to fix her leg on her own.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As I am sure most of you have heard Pretzel did not make it through the surgery. We are all absolutely heart broken.

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring love and support for Pretzel. Unfortunately it did not end the way we had all hoped or imagined. You guys are Jolene's dog family and she respects and admires all of you for the kind giving hearts you all have. She is so humbled to feel so supported. My heart is broken not only for her, but also for her son, who is taking this news very hard. He feels terrible. Jolene has reassured him that it is ok, that accidents happen and that he learned a lesson the worst and hardest way possible. Sarah, my daughter who was graciously offering to take the puppy despite any special needs she may have and had already fallen in love with her.
The vet has given Jolene a very easy bill so we have raised too much money. Jolene is so grateful for the funds but does not feel comfortable keeping the additional funds as they were raised to help pay for Pretzel's surgery.

Jolene and I have spoken and she is thinking there are some options for what to do with the additional funds: every donator has a choice what is done with their money. (Go Fund Me takes 2.9% too)
a) Refund directly to you by etransfer -which Jolene feels best about, but if people really don’t want that then we can consider other options.
B)Donate it to our Lab Club Specialty show(last weekend in August)to buy something for the silent auction or sponsor a class prize on honour of Pretzel.
Or if anyone has any other ideas please bring forward.

Please contact Jolene directly to let her know what option you would like.

Again thank you all for the amazing support.

Just a little update on Cheetah Collar Girl, she is doing great! She gets around great on 3 legs, still plays and does her best and does not seem to be in pain, thank goodness! I talked to the vet this morning with the decision to go ahead with the FHO(Femoral Head Osteotomy) surgery. The vet is thinking we better wait a couple weeks because of the increased anesthetic for a young puppy. I will keep you all updated!
