Save 229 trees Beaumaris Secondary
Donation protected
The State Government intends to remove 229 trees at the Beaumaris Secondary College School site.
Our Monday protest has resulting in them halting tree removal works and committing to community consultation.
To make an informed decision a group of local residents, headed by the Beaumaris Conservation Society Inc. wants to raise money to pay a respected, experienced arborist to review the trees at the school and see how more trees can be kept within the current design.
If any additional money is raised it will all be put towards buying new trees to replant at the Beaumaris Secondary College when it re opens
Some in the community would prefer to send a cheque. Please make it out to the Beaumaris Conservation Society Inc and drop it off to 18 Anita Street Beaumaris
