Savannah's Journey

Donation protected
Savannah just turned 23 on June 7th. She had just gotten out of the hospital 2 days before her birthday where she had been for 12 days. On May 25th Savannah was transported by ambulance to Abbott NW. After 2 blood transfusions, EKG, CT Scans, MRIs, ultrasounds and surgeries to remove the fluid from around her heart and lungs. She was diagnosed with Microscopic Polyangliitis. This is a rare form of vasculitis that affects the blood vessels to major organs. After a kidney biopsy they discovered both kidneys were not functioning and she was also diagnosed her kidney with end stage renal disease.

She is now doing dialysis three times a week, a series of Rituxan infusions to try and get her vasculitis under control so she can get on the list for a kidney transplant. Savannah is unable to work and has countless doctor appointments, due to her current condition. Savannah is a generous, funny and sweet soul who is always helping others. Although there's been tears along the way. She's handling this with a positive attitude! She has a rough road ahead of her. Savannah will be using the money for medical bills, transportation, daily living & bills until she can get through this. We appreciate all your support throughout her journey.
