UN Intensive Summer Program

Dear friends,
My name is Sara Mora and I am a 20 year old college student preparing to transfer from Union County College to Seton Hall University into the School of Diplomacy and International Relations this upcoming fall.
I am writing to you because I am currently in the process of applying to the United Nations Intensive Summer Program which is being offered by Seton Hall University. This program is extremely relevant for my next step in my college career as it would allow me to gain insight of the diplomatic field and prepare me to enter the program which will lead me to a successful career in the future.
In order to take full advantage of this program and gain credits towards my bachelors degree, I must pay $3,000 total plus a fee of $400 to cover housing expenses at Seton Hall University for the 6 days that this program lasts.
I must give a particle deposit by May 1st and total payment would be due a few weeks later.
This current 2016 - 2017 school year I am serving as the President of the Model United Nations club at Union County College and have worked arduously to assist the Syrian refugee children of my county, leading a mentorship program called Model UN at UCC: United with Syria. This experience has led me to become more rooted in my passion for helping with international causes. I truly believe this summer intensive program would help me grow as a diplomacy and international relations students.
I hope to one day serve as a diplomat for my country, Costa Rica and through programs like this I will be able to expand my knowledge and be prepared to be a great leader.
All help is welcomed and much needed.
I work part-time and go to school full-time as well as serving as a community leader within my campus and outside of school grounds. I must help my parents to pay for my school tuition and we cannot afford to pay for these kind of programs as I also have 2 younger siblings.
