Hello there beautiful people! It's Sarah Quiceno here. Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my page, you're awesome! Here's a bit on why you are reading this: This summer, July 5, 2015, I will be heading to the land of Perth, Australia! I will be joining a team of people in an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in which there is a 6-month program called discipleship training school.
This program is divided into two parts, the lecture phase and the outreach phase. The first three months being the lecture phase is when I'll be settled in Australia. During this time I will dive deeply into the word of God along with the rest of my team, with weekly teachings on different topic such as: learning about the heart of the Father, identity in Christ, Evangelism, etc. It will honestly be what I believe to be the best time of my life. Not only will I be spending so much time with God and discovering my passions, but I will also be learning how to make Him known throughout the nations! In this time I will be equipped and taught more about the very real, and heartbreaking issue of human trafficking. We will also be putting into action everything we learn to help these victims in the streets of Perth.
After the first 3 months we are then split up into two teams and sent into another nation (ex: India, Asia, or Africa). This is where the outreach phase begins. Throughout my time there our goal is to reach as many victims of sex trafficking as possible. There are approximately 27 million slaves worldwide who are terrorized by the rapidly growing human trafficking industry. We will be reaching people of all ages, as young as 6 years old. These victims are mothers, daughters, sisters, even brothers, that are kidnapped, sold, and stripped of their purity, dignity, childhood, and every last ounce of innocence. Through the Priceless D.T.S.(discipleship training school) ministry we will be helping those who are hopeless and enslaved to this daily abuse. They are people just like us, yearning for hope, and for an escape. We will be going to the deepest, darkest places where these victims are found in the dead of the night offering them a safe way out. We will do things like: getting them to safe homes, teaching them basic life skills (work, communication, etc.) teaching them about the love of God, and guiding them so that they may learn to live once again in freedom and in society.
I believe that God places a calling, or a passion in everyone's heart, and this is mine. It's not an easy ministry, it's not something for everyone, but I am so glad God has given me the courage to go out and help those who cannot help themselves. When I found out about this opportunity to make a difference, to not only have God transform my life but to use me to help others I completely fell in love with it. Thankfully God has opened the doors and I have been accepted into this school!
Like everything in this world, this mission requires money and time is ticking. Your support is very important in making a difference in these peoples lives! Maybe you're reading this right now and saying "wow! this is so sad and I wish I could help!". Perhaps you feel can't because you have too many responsibilities, or something else preventing you from helping. Not everyone has the chance to go out and help these people directly, but for a small amount you can have a real impact on the lives of real people just like you. Please keep in mind that any funds donated will go straight to helping me reach these people by paying for basic needs such as my:
- living expenses
- food
- sleeping accommodations
- transportation
- airline tickets(to/from Perth and outreach location.)
- passport
- student visa

Hola amigos y familiares, es Sarah! Me estoy extendiendo a usted porque este verano voy a formar parte de una misión con cual necesito tu ayuda para lograrlo. Esta misión consiste en luchar contra una injusticia que afecta a 27 millones de personas en todo el mundo que son explotados y esclavizados en nuestra sociedad ... Imagínese que se vea obligado a vender su bebé a un hombre extraño , o que sea secuestrado y nunca ser capaz de experimentar la libertad. Imagínese infantes de 6 y 7 años de edad aterrorizados por la violación y palizas que reciben a diario. Estos son casos reales que están afectando a demasiadas personas
Estos casos me han movido a querer ser parte de la solución. Y usted puede unirse a mí para que juntos podamos tomar medidas para poner fin a la esclavitud. Este verano me voy a estar dirigiendo a Perth Australia para unirme a una organización basada en la fe llamada YWAM (Juventud Con Una Misión). Esto implicará un tiempo de aprender sobre el corazón de Dios por la justicia; un momento de recibir entrenamiento por profesionales que han rescatado a personas de la esclavitud sexual durante años; y lo más importante, va a ser un momento de poner en práctica lo aprendido y unirnos junto a otros en la lucha contra el trafico humano. Me uniré a un equipo con el que vamos a ir a lugares como los distritos de luz roja, stripclubs, prostíbulos, entre otros lugares, a fin de llegar a las niñas/mujeres que están siendo explotadas actualmente. A medida que nos relacionamos con estas victimas, vamos a tener la oportunidad de darles un mensaje de esperanza, y en varios casos, vamos a ser capaces de ofrecerles un camino a la libertad - incluyendo el acceso a los hogares y refugios seguros. Para los rescatados de la esclavitud sexual, vamos a ofrecer recursos sostenibles para que pudieran ser restaurados, y, en definitiva, vivir la vida de la libertad que Jesús ha diseñado para ellos.
Usted puede ser parte de esta misión para acabar con la esclavitud atravez de su gran apoyo que es necesario. Para cumplir con este proyecto, necesito sus oraciones y apoyo financiero. Voy a necesitar aproximadamente 10.000 dólares para cubrir todos los gastos que implica para mí,(incluye comida,vivencia, entrenamiento, vuelo, visa, transportation.. etc) para poder recibir el entrenamiento y poder llegar a los distintos lugares donde vamos a estar llegando a las víctimas de tráfico sexual. Este es un gran objetivo, lo que sería imposible de lograr sin la ayuda de personas como usted que se han comprometido a llevar la libertad a través de este proyecto.
