Santiago's Vet Care
Santiago is a sweet recent retiree from Birmingham AB. He's been with After the Track Greyhound Adoption since September 2018, and he is a wonderful boy with a heart of gold.
When Santiago came into foster, it wasn't long after until he started to display some strange symptoms. Several vet visits, X-rays, Ultrasounds, exploratory surgeries and medications later, we are still in the process of figuring out his diagnoses. He is currently under the care of an amazing vet, who has been extremely generous with her time and services. However, Santiago's procedures are excessive and costly, requiring extra staff and care -- and even with our vet's generosity, the bills are starting to pile up.
We are confident that Santiago can make a full recovery and move on to live a long, healthy life -- but we need to continue on his treatment path.
Combine Santiago's vet bills with several other medical expenses we've had recently for other dogs, and we are cresting the $10K mark.
After the Track prides ourselves in our fundraising efforts and rely on the generous donations we receive from our supporters -- so we have been fortune not to have to start too many Go Fund Me campaigns. This time, we are asking for some support and are truly thankful for any donations we receive towards Santiago's recovery.
We are a not-for-profit who prides ourselves in our willingness to thoroughly treat any greyhound in our care, with whatever medical procedures that they need to life happy, pain-free lives.
Please feel free to share this page, and thank you again for your support!! We look forward to giving you happy updates on Mitey Santiago!

We would like to thank everyone sincerely for their generous donations to Santiago's vet care thus far. Our gratitude is deeper than you could ever know.
We are about half way to our goal. We will keep this GoFundMe up until January 2nd in the hopes that some more Christmas Angels will help us to our $5K goal. :)
Soon, Santiago will be looking to start his journey to his new forever home. We can't wait until this day. He needs more care at this time, but we look forward to keeping everyone updated on his progress.
THANK YOU again from ATTGA & Santiago !!
