Hand crafted of warm fuzzy fleece by the volunteers of Epsilon Sigma Alpha service sorority, with little mittens sewn on each end, a Santa America "HUG" let a special needs child give themselves a warm secure hug when Mommy or Daddy or Santa is able to do so.
A Santa America "Hug" is a wonderful hand made symbol of Love, Hope and Joy.....the three gifts Santa America volunteers deliver with every visit to a special needs child.
Founded in 2003, Santa America is a 501c3 volunteer service organization serving children in hospice or suffering with chronic pediatric illnesses. Our Santa volunteers are among the very best in the USA! Four were named "Top Santas in America" by Time Magazine! All are backgrounded to the highest standards and are volunteers at hospices and pediatric hospitals nationwide! A Santa America visit is tender and loving....and personal!
Santa America also visits our wounded warriors, disabled veterans, and military families who have lost a loved one in the service of our country.
We visit special needs families 365 days a year. A Santa America "Hug" is never out of season!
