Hello- we're the United Satanists of Central Texas- a loose confederation of concerned Satanists, doing what we can the better the world.
And we're here to help disadvantaged women of the Austin Area with access to tampons and pads.

One of the main beliefs in our organization is that every human being should never have their rights to health and safety infringed upon.
(but, leave it to Texas politics to get in the way of that...)
Earlier this year, the city where we live- Austin, decided to remain a sanctuary city, protecting our vulnerable immigrant population. As punishment for that, The Texas Gov, Greg Abbot cut funding for the city that impacted several essential social programs, among them- Women's shelters. Women's shelters provide resources for women in distress, be it homelessness, economic distress- whatever they need, they are there to assist.
One crucial item that often gets overlooked by other organizations is sanitary products- tampons and pads. Our goal here is to help provide Austin women in need with a HUGE supply of pads and tampons to help address this issue.
(we can get these in bulk for under .16 cents each, and with your help, we WILL!)
Tampons and pads are- surprise! Something every woman will typically need in their lives. On this planet, there are more women than men, so literally MORE THAN HALF THE PLANET needs products for their periods, and they are not free- they're not even tax exempt in Texas. The lifetime cost of purchasing products for your period is well in excess of 10 thousand dollars.
How we are going to help-
What we here at the United Satanists of Central Texas are going to do is hopefully collect donations from you to help us purchase 1000's of pads and tampons in bulk, and the deliver them to Austin based women's shelters to distribute down to the women they serve.
A woman who can't afford sanitary products, while on their period can't go to job interviews, can't go to school, can't go to a doctor- it is an isolating situation to be in. Being able to participate in society at even a base level like this should never be considered a 'luxury'. This is a basic human right- and again- an issue that over HALF the planet has to deal with on a monthly basis, and the other half usually wants to ignore.
Where the money will go-
We have lined up a wholesale supplier for the pads and tampons, and we have an organization ready to receive the products and distribute directly to women in need. All we need now is your support.
So help us fight back against Greg Abbot and his assault on Texas women and human dignity. Help us help women.
