Sandy's Road to Recovery

On October 24, our beloved friend Sandy Urban was walking through a Walmart parking lot and a driver backed out of a parking spot and hit her. She sustained a lot of very serious injuries, including broken ribs, partially collapsed lungs, fractures in multiple vertebrae and a broken clavicle. She is in ICU at Lutheran General and is in a lot of pain that is not being helped by very strong meds. They will be doing surgery on Monday, October 29 and she will have a very long road to recovery.

Many of Sandy's friends have asked how they can help. Please donate to help Sandy cover basic living expenses and VERY significant medical expenses. The more we can do to help ease her mind about financial concerns while she is recovering, the better!

Sandy is such a kind, giving individual and would normally never ask for help. She and her family have a lot of other things to worry about right now and the last things they should be worrying about right now are money and expenses.
