North Texas sand sculptor & multi media artist Joaquin Cortez, is on a mission to inspire. Cortez creates powerful life like  sculptures that raise spirits and bring enjoyment to all.

Join the team supporting artist Joaquin Cortez, as he sculpts a native hill side into a monument of freedom.  An incredibly life like American Eagle of epic proportions will rise from the landscape. With your help, Cortez will break ground on the permanent sculpture this year.

Funds raised will be used for materials and labor, equipment rentals,  etc.

"In the wake of the shooting in Dallas that left five police officers dead, we've seen some amazing tributes, from the gift of an American flag to a powerful mural.

Now, a sand sculptor has created his own touching tribute to fallen officers.

Artist Joaquin Cortez spent nearly two weeks creating the impressive sculpture, Fox 7reported.

It features an incredibly lifelike bald eagle holding the Dallas Police Department seal, along with the names of the slain officers."
