Sam's Fundraiser for the Homeless
Donation protected
"Mom, I wish I had $1000 to buy food for the homeless so they wouldn't have to eat out of trash cans." - Sam, age 7
This month Sam turns 8! For his birthday, he wants to raise $1050 for the only homeless shelter in Collin County! When he delivers the donation, his hope is to be able to serve a meal to the residents at the shelter.
Over the summer, Sam and his friend, James, set up a lemonade stand to raise money for The Samaritan Inn. Over the course of 3 days, the boys raised a little over $1000. 8 months later, our city's homeless population is still weighing on Sam's heart . Sam told his mom recently that he wished he had another $1000 to buy more food for the homeless. Because of busy school and activity schedules making it difficult to run a lemonade stand for 3 days, Sam had the idea to start a fundraiser for his 8th birthday.

We have contacted Melissa Bettis, The Samaritan Inn Chief Development Director. We will be working directly with her as your generous donations come in.
Thank you for considering helping Sam reach his birthday fundraising goal to benifit The Samaritan Inn. Any donation amount helps, whether it's $5 or $100.
