Was this done by a Cav's fan? I am one and I'm appalled. I am so so sorry. Please don't take this as an example as to what Clevelanders are like. My heart goes out to you.

I can not believe some people's comments on here.Instead of wishing a guy a speedy recovery some of you are questioning if it really was a Cavs fan who did it?when i was at the game there were at least 3 Cavs fans just in our section,so dont be too quick to dismiss this story. Salvator,I hope you'll get better really soon!

It is my position that everybody should be able to enjoy a basketball, baseball or football game and the like without the fear that people will become violent because a person or persons are rooting for opposing teams. It is my sincere hope that Salvator Bimbo makes a complete recovery from his injuries. However, let this near death experience be a lesson to you Salvator Bimbo that instead of recording physical altercations between opposing fans contact local law enforcement and/or the paramedics if you see that a person or persons need assistance. Hopefully, surveillance footage will surface in your case that will depict what happened in your situation and that those responsible will be brought to justice. Someone getting beat to death or nearly to death is no laughing matter as your situation clearly illustrates.

According to the story, you were doing nothing but innocently standing there recording altercations between fans. May I offer that next time there's an altercation, rather than stand there and video tape it, you call authorities? I suppose you can only hope now that someone was doing the same as you and stood by recording your incident. Either way, I hope you experience a full recovery.
