Saliba Strong!

Hi everyone.  We have had a busy 11 months.  Lot of ups and downs - good news and heartbreaking news.  As most of you know my beautiful Alex was fourteen when he found out that he had an ependymoma brain tumor that was benign. It was surgically removed at Duke.  Sadly,  in late 2016 we received the shocking news that another tumor had come up and this time it was the M word...Malignant.  Our hearts broke.  He did surgery and aggressive radiation.  We waited.  We prayed.  We cried.  We dreamed.  We know he is going to beat this!  But then another blow came...in July Alex has suffered two more brain tumors, both aggressive and again malignant.  The first one was removed.  Unfortunately the most recent one has become inoperable. Despite all news on September 14th Alex and I decided to get married. We planned a beautiful wedding on a 24 hours notice with immediate family surrounding us while we danced and laughed the night away. Alex has now started chemotherapy and waiting on an MRI.  We are still dreaming.  We are not letting cancer have its hold over us.  We need help.  We have so many bills coming and Alex is not employed or on disability. Your donation and continuous prayerswill help us pay for treatment and his new diet and help us realize we can do this because others are going to help us.  We will not let cancer take away our dreams and our life.  Alex is strong and our warrior!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
