Stand Against Lodge Farm Village

Rugby Borough Council have included in their Draft Local Plan proposals to build a Main Rural Development called "Lodge Farm Village" in the open Warwickshire countryside, in the Parish of Grandborough.
Stand Against Lodge Farm Village (S.A.L.F.V) is an action group campaigning to oppose these plans, to preserve our open countryside, to stop additional vehicle traffic and polution, to maintain our limited school spaces for our children, and to conserve our historic rural villages for future generations.
We need to raise in the region of £50,000 to pay for the following:
- planning consultants;
- solicitors/barristers to represent us at the Planning Inspector's Examination In Public (EIP);
- traffic consultants to examine the latest traffic report provided by Vectos/WCC
- environmental consultants that are able to quantify the effect of the traffic on the air quality (especially at Dunchurch)
- heritage consultants that can quantify the effect of the council's proposed traffic mitigation on listed buildings/locations

When you donate to SALFV every £ goes directly to fighting this campaign; it pays for a set of fliers or signs, for a planning consultant, for a legal team. Campaign organisers receive £0, in fact they are some of our biggest donors. We are not like a major charity that pays for staff or management.
Once the campaign will be victorious, and it will be clear the funds are not necessary anymore, any leftover money will be donated to Rugby's St. Cross Hospital.
