Salem’s New Life

As many of you may know, i have fought through various things in life to arrive to where i am today. I came to the UK as a refugee when i was 17, suffering from brain damage after a chain of unfotunate incidents, that caused me to susatin long term memory loss, as well as issues with retaining short term memories. I fought everyday with the help of my friends to sustain myself, to recover, and to become the person that i am today!

With many friends supporting me in managing my symptoms, and my best friend even creating an app to support my memory issues (See video below!) I have managed to not only join higher education again, but reach the end of my degree and finishing on time!

I also managed to acheieve many things during my time at university that range from different job experiences, volunteering for various organisations, and supporting fellow university students academically, and in societies. This is all thanks to all the continuous support i received from all my friends, so a special thanks goes out to all of you. Recent development: I managed to secure my first appartment! And with graduation in July, i was hoping you would all support me one last time in covering some basic life costs. Money donated would go towards subsiding the costs of: Kitchen/furniture, new phone, mini laptop/tablet for paper work on the go (Nature of my jobs requires me to fill forms on the go, which i cannot always do on a phone), and graduation costs (Gown hire, Suit, memorabilia)I work hard to pay my bills, and usually struggle to treat myself. Im finally about to graduate and would like to be able to afford new things whilst paying bills. I would really appreciate it if you would all give me a final boost into adulthood.
