The Electric Sailboat Project
Donation protected
Most people wait until retirement to do this but we just couldn't wait. We are Pajo and Ava, two Seattleites who are sailing around the world fueled 100% by renewable energy. We converted our boat Cinderella the Ericson 35-2 from diesel to electric drive which is powered by solar energy and regeneration under sail. We are completely DIY and on a shoestring budget. We are sharing everything we learn along the way in hopes to inspire others to become more sustainable. We can all do our part for our beautiful planet and have some fun adventures along the way. Your support helps us complete our boat projects ahead, the key ones including windlass install, lazy jacks, bottom paint, parts and repairs. We are also hoping to raise funds for a water maker and a reliable nav station to withstand harsh sailing conditions. It all goes to keep the dream alive! Check out all that we've done so far and what we're up to now by following our blog
