Donation protected
The #SafeOutside initiative was mostly volunteer driven, but it wasn't completely free. The nonprofit American Alpine Club and the company Lieuca Advisors generously committed funds and resources to help make this happen.
The money raised through this gofundme page will fund the continuation of the #SafeOutside work. Specifically, we hope to build on the momentum of the #SafeOutside initiative and continue to expand our work.
We intend to use the funds raised here to:
1) help organizations develop and refine policies, procedures and programs to address sexual harassment and assault
2) invest in long-term education programs
3) conduct deep policy research
4) expand on our work with survivors
5) bring perpetrators to justice when possible
