Safeguard Children at our local Primary School

The Hill Barton Community Association are raising money for a legal battle to protect and safeguard the young children attending our local Primary School.
Recently, permission was granted by our local council to build a Secure Mental Healthcare Unit next door to the school.
We believe this decision is deeply flawed for many reasons. These reasons include the welfare of the school children, the welfare of local residents and also the welfare of the patients themselves.
Whilst the record of the Care Provider, Cygnet Healthcare, is very shocking and controversial we do not seek to publicise that here. Rather, we humbly request your help to fund an appeal against this decision.

As a local community we are united in our support of providing excellent Mental Healthcare facilities to all. Many of us have friends and family or even we as individuals depend on these kinds of facilities.
For the good of all we seek only to prevent the 'wrong' location being used and hopefully maybe to also prompt some questions as to why this irresponsible Care Provider continues to receive valuable NHS funding.
The appeal process is expensive and whilst the local community are working hard to fund this we deeply appreciate any support that concerned parents in all parts of Exeter and the wider community can offer.
