Andy Ash and his friend Fred are going to attempt the SaddleSore 1000 mile challenge in May 2019. This entails riding a motorcycle 1000 miles in a 24hr period so if they begin at 6am the ride has to be completed by 6am the following day.
They are going to ride from Plymouth to Falkirk in Scotland and return back to Plymouth within the 24 hour challenge. It's called SaddleSore for a very good reason and it is quite a challenge LOL!!!
The ride is verified by witness statements and fuel receipts along the route and on completion all evidence is sent to the Iron Butt association for verification.
Andy and Fred are doing this to raise money for Many Tears as Andy got his much love dog Daisy from us a few years ago and both he and Fred want to help us save more dogs just like her. So it you would like to sponsor them please do and make their saddle sore butts worth all the effort!
