Sacha's Rehabilitation Fund
Sacha! What a wonderful being of light. She graces us with her kind and affectionate energy when we arrive for yoga. She welcomes us with love, making whatever happened before in our daily lives a little more irrelevant. She immediately visits with you and wants a pet from you! Sacha reminds us of what true present moment happiness and compassion are and how capable we all are of obtaining these traits.
Sacha is getting into her older years and age is taking a toll on her joints and resilience. Last Fall, she tore her ACL (on her left side), and has been on a daily supplement since. She's a little stiff on that side, but it has healed nicely.
Recently, she tore her right ACL, and is currently mending, taking it really easy and lounging like a lazy cat at the studio. She loves to lounge, but some of you may know that she also loves to play...especially with Sebastian who wakes up each day wondering if she can play yet?!
Sacha has been recommended surgery, plus a full regimen of routine physical therapy and supplements. We are starting this rehabalitation account for her so that we can give her all the care that she needs. It is our eventual goal to get her started on a daily dog yoga practice (with alternative dog healers, therapists, and medicines).
We will use funds for:
- TPLO surgery
- rehabilitation physical therapy (post surgery)
- regular vet visits and routine check ups
- medications and other natural anti inflammatories (when needed)
- ongoing natural health supplements
- future prehab to prevent similar injuries
Please help us help her! We want Sacha more than anything to continue hanging with us, and help us with Sebastian ;) We love her very much and know you do too!
