SAC..... Steve Anderson Controversy

This fund raiser is to solicit donations towards the legal expenses that will be incurred during the protest of the AVCO/Anderson demolition of two (2) prestigious  homes 197 and 191 St David St. Mitchell ON, to facilitate the construction of two (2) massive nineteen unit apartment buildings.

The funds collected will be used to cover the costs of Martha Cook, Barrister and Solicitor. 

Martha has been retained for advice and counsel as well as formal representation at Council sessions to present the neighborhood concerns.
To date, Martha has been retained by Brian Thomson, Ruth Haynes-Thomson, Martin Bovey and Doris Bovey, we (the four individuals named) will be considered as “Retained Clients”, while Martha will represent all other individuals opposing this development,( providing she has your name, address) as “Non Retained Clients”. As we have this data from petitions and prior contact, we will forward this information to her.

Regards the above mentioned GoFundMe account, it is our intent to track the individual donations, and if by chance there is a surplus in the fund, we will reimburse all individuals on a pro-rated basis based on the value of your contribution and distribute the surplus to those donors.
Please note any and all contributions, whether in our neighborhood or not will be greatly appreciated, so your friends are welcome to contribute.

We will provide copies of all Legal Billings to provide transparency on the use of this fund.

PLEASE donate as this dispute is critical to our neighborhood.


These funds are urgently required if we are to have any chance of preserving our neighborhood as is.
