South Africa Connect Day

Hello ALL!

My name is Constance, I along with my cousins will be taking a lifetime dream trip to Cape Town, South Africa in October. During this trip we will have the pleasure of volunteering with the Sisanda FunDaytion!

Let me share with you what the Sisanda FunDaytion is all about!

The Sisanda FunDaytion is an established outreach volunteer organization that arranges fun, educational, and inspirational activities for disadvantaged and vulnerable children in South Africa. They are registered as a Trust (NGO number: IT3973/2009) and have been given Public Benefit Organization status (PBO number: 930033409). Their primary objective is to create opportunities for vulnerable and less fortunate children to realize their potential through inspirational, memorable, and fun experiences.

During this trip, we will be volunteering with the Sisanda FunDaytion to set up a “Birthday-Party Connect Day” for a group of 32 neglected and underprivileged children. This will be an event full of fun, games, treats, cheer, and laughter for all.

The money raised will be used to support this event and to ensure that all of the children are able to participate; and also that there are enough supplies and treats for everyone in participation. Any additional funds raised will be directly donated to the Sisanda FunDaytion to assist them in continuing their overall outreach and volunteer endeavors that enables them to help needy children in South Africa.

My goal is to raise $1,000 by August 2016. I myself will be contributing $100 as I believe in the importance of giving to those who aren't as privileged; and most importantly to bring a smile to the faces of those less fortunate children. Any monetary donation that you feel in your heart is worth giving, is greatly appreciated.  I deeply thank you from the bottom of my heart.
