Those of you who know us will know how hard this is for us to do but our situation has forced us to reach out for help.
On Feb 8th, 2016 Duane was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. We thought this would be the worst day of our lives but would later find out that despite all the radiation, chemo treatments and surgeries the cancer has advanced to stage 4 and spread to the liver, small intestine and outer stomach wall.
After yet another major 13 hr surgery to remove the tumors we were very hopeful and told there was no sign of disease. Then just a short 2 months later the follow up scans set us right back into fight mode as the cancer has now spread to the lymph nodes and the left lung.
Duane will be starting his 4th different chemo treatment Monday October 2nd 2017 and we will keep on with this endless battle with this horrible disease.
We just need your help with the costly expenses of treatments and the ongoing financial burden of a now limited single income household. We have a lot of catching up to do so all help is greatly appreciated.
