On April 16th a fire occured at our home and while everyone is out of eminent danger, Brian is suffering from severe burns on his upper body.
Currently, Brian is located at Loyola Hospital in one of the best burn unit centers in the world. While we are extremely grateful and blessed with the overwhelming amount of care and generosity thus far, we know that this is only the first step in a long road to recovery. While we don't know exactly the length and specifics of his recovery, we do know he will need multiple surgeries, an extended hospital stay, and continuous rehabilitation. In this time of recovery we want to provide the best support system for Brian--while things and items can be replaced, people cannot, and so our focus from here is to direct intentions towards his healing and wellness.
Any contributions will give Brian a better safety net to move through this difficult process. We want to thank everyone for keeping Brian in their prayers and couldn't be more appreciative of the kind gestures thus far.
