All About Cats is a rescue organization in Roswell, GA.
We help cats that are homeless, those in animal control shelters and owner surrenders.
This poor boy was found homeless trying to find food. A daughter of a volunteer contacted All About Cats asking if we could take this cat in. She was moving and did not want to leave him behind. As many rescues currently are, we are full so I told her he would have to go to a boarding clinic. This raises the cost of helping him. Given that he looked in such bad shape and knowing that he might not survive once she would be gone, I decided to take him anyway.
He has had an exam, been tested for FIV/FeLV surprisingly was negative/negative and had his rabies. He now needs to be neutered and desparately needs a dental because he has very bad teeth. He needs the remainder of his shots. He is eating very well as if he has never eaten before! And his name is Opie :)
If you can help with his care All About Cats would greatly appreciate it. The bill is already at $350 and we are still looking at another $200 plus for the remainder of his expenses.
