To feed the Homeless in Portland OR

My name is Spencer Howard I'm orginially from Springfield, Il but have moved many places. I have seen the homeless in Illinois, Savannah GA, and even in Belize, and now Portland. I can say i'm guilty of not doing enough for the homeless but i have always helped out when i could and here is where i'm trying to do more. All over my Facebook and in the news I read "we need to help solve the hungry and homeless problem we have in America." No one seems to be doing anything at all, just talking about it.  So i thought maybe i would do my part to inspire others to help do theirs. If I end up getting this money i plan to purchase with it only drinks, food, coats, hats, socks, hand warmers, anything that will help with this problem. Majority of the time you can't rely on the government to fix things, sometimes you just have to try it out on your own.  If this works out it will be wonderful but if it doesnt i tried to get people to help and i'll continue to always do my part. I'll strart by putting 5$ of my own money into it.
