New wheelchair

Donation protected
About 15 years ago my mom developed inclusive body myositis, a rare degenerative muscle disorder. Since then her body has slowly become weaker, making it more and more dangerous to walk due to the risk of a serious fall.

If you know my mom you know how involved she is with kids. All my life I have watched her make lasting relationships with kids of all ages. She loves being with kids at church; working in Awana, Youth Group, as well as 15 years at camp. She has spent 30+ years working in the Tacoma and Bethel school districts. Much of that time with special needs children.

After she had several serious falls resulting in broken bones she was able to get a scooter. It's now time however, to transition to getting a wheelchair and an accessible van as she has lost the ability to get into her car on her own.

Please help her regain her independence so that she can fully get back to the things she loves. Anything you can do is greatly appreciated. On the off chance that we raise over our goal, any extra money would go towards her van.
