What is RydeHub? A solution for the Taxi Industry.

Rydehub is a project of Ride Safe International to create a universal, public domain Ride hail app.


Current ride hail app technology such as Uber, Lyft and their taxi industry counterparts have presented more issues with fraud, criminal activity, uninsured operations and an over all inability to advance or revolutionize the commercial transportation industry as the developers of these apps had initially promised.

The primary issues with Ridesahre/TNC companies (Uber & Lyft) and their hail app systems

1- Uninsured operations

2- Fraudulent contracting for driver operations

3- Fraudulent customer service and usage agreements

4- An Epidemic of physical assaults, sexual assaults and theft of customers by Rideshare/TNC drivers

5- No fingerprint background checking, training or proper vetting for drivers

6- No living wage, workman’s comp or ethical working conditions for drivers

7- Over saturation

8- Drivers foregoing the use of the app to take cash hails or private call hails, thus losing the Rideshare/TNC money and invalidating any insurance agreements not already invalidated by fraudulent contracting

9- Inability to effectively offer Shared Ride and Ride pooling services to make drivers and the company MORE profit in less time on fares.

10- They do not address double dipping (customers arranging more than one call with more than one company)

11- They can not effectively offer reservation/pre-call services

12- They do not offer universal payment options

13- Ratings systems are unfair or overly biased

14 No LIVE emergency/law enforcement response or customer service phone line or timely options

15- No provision or incentive for para-transit services

16- Unfair surge rates and pricing

The primary issues with Taxi hail apps

1- Inability to recover business lost to Rideshare/TNCs or compete with Rideshare/TNCs

2- No brand recognition or retention as the apps are not universal or can be used in ALL places (other cities/countries) the customer may travel and with other taxi companies and other transportation service booking.

3- Expensive fees and usage charges by app company providing to the taxi company in excess of what they promise in market returns

4- They limit availability and conflict with LIVE call requests to dispatch

5- Restriction of fleet and availability to customers

6- Issues with Live dispatch conflicts

7- Live dispatch able to interrupt app orders angering and losing customers

8- Drivers foregoing the use of the app to take cash hails or private call hails, thus losing the Taxi company money.

How does Rydehub address these issues and deliver competitive capability to Taxis?

Specifications & Applications of Rydehub:

1- 24/7 call center along side your own dispatch

2- NO requirement for the customer to enter any information but their phone number

3- Standard Phone APP AND Browser based app if customer and provider do not want to load a bulky app to their phone

4- Universal availability, app works in all cities around the world and lists ALL vetted providers, taxi, bus, train, air travel, boat travel with booking options for all either through the app or by connection with the provider’s booking service.


5- Call cancellation charge for canceling hails and booking through the app when provider has arrived before or within 5 minuets of ETA. Charge is paid to provider.

6- Double dipping block to cancel any and all double booking to the same address unless specified by all parties at the same address that more than one vehicle is needed.

7- Seating and baggage availability listed on all vehicles

8- Shared ride and pooled ride routing and seating/baggage plotting to expedite and arrange shared ride/ride pooling service for all providers.

9- FREE TO USE FOR COMPANY AND DRIVER. Rydehub would operate on ad revenue for advertisements in non-transportation related goods and services, 0.5% fee on pre-booking and special ride service arrangements outside of para-transit.

10- Dispatch version of app with ride and call log record keeping.

11- Dash cam server storage for expedited review of incident footage

12- Para-transit Express system to maintain and arrange para-transit services and para-transit customer accounts custom maintained for each customer free of charge.

13- Angel services paid for by Ride Safe and offered through Rydehub to offer special needs, meals on wheels, delivery and low income transportation solutions WITH incentive in driver/company income and tax return.

14- Universal payment options for customer and driver

15- No tracking or retention of customer travel habits or personal information

16- NO Surge or increased fare rates unless applied to ALL customers in a city and not only small selective areas as with Rideshare/TNC surge rates. No surges in excess of reasonable rates for time and distance traveled during ONLY busy hours. No surge rates during slow hours.

17- Custom Geo-lines and zones for zone, linear and/or distance fare rates depending on the company/driver specifications.

18- Stand by button for breaks

19- Emergency button

20- Instant street hail option for customers that appears on ALL taxis in the area.

Benefits and advantages of the Rydehub system:

With every taxi in one city on the same app, taxi companies no longer have to guess or play a dangerous game that costs more in fuel and vehicle service costs while forcing drivers to accept less and less wages.

All taxis will see each other and all customers will see and be able to hail all taxis based on availability.

Fleets will be able to share areas while expediting service far faster than Rideshare/TNC companies AND also providing outbound call service without prejudice and again with FASTER response times than Rideshare/TNCs.

Customers will not have a bulky app on their phone if they do not wish and they will be able to pay the driver in what ever means they wish WITH the added bonus of phone identification if the customer attempts to ditch on the call.

While ride safe would only store phone numbers or a profile with credit card if the customer wishes, burner and masked phones would not be able to be used on Rydehub.

Customers will have options to ALL forms of transportation available in the area and connection options between them.

These factors would return a MINIMUM average of 40% to ALL providers in the Taxi market in what has been lost from Rideshare/TNC operations.

I understand that sharing availability on one app may not be appealing but the taxi industry is not going to survive without this.

I have told the taxi industry this for years and the taxi industry has ignored it for years while losing more and more of the transportation market to Uber and Lyft.


It will instantly make taxis more available, faster and more popular than Uber or Lyft and it will return vetted and INSURED drivers to the public as apposed to the uninsured Rideshare/TNC criminals who dominate the market now.

Rydehub would also offer usage to individuals wishing to do Rydeshare/TNC under local laws however Rydehub would require COMMERCIAL GRADE insurance, a fingerprint background check from local police, training, vetting and BI-MONTHLY inspections and service on their vehicles provided through VETTED TAXI shops at the fee structure YOUR COMPANIES would prefer to charge them.

Companies like Uber and Lyft and their drivers WOULD NOT be allowed on Rydehub for clear safety and vetting reasons.

If taxi companies can come together for the sake of public safety and their customers, THEY WILL put Uber and Lyft out of business with Rydehub.

Since Rydehub is a non-profit entity, it’s income is dedicated only to operating costs. If any income is made above that it is used for para-transit, special needs, elder services and low income rides paid back to taxi companies.

There is also no incentive on the part of Rydehub to favor one transportation provider over another in any area or through advertisement since Rydehub would not advertise transportation goods or services.
