Zeringue Flood Relief

Donation protected
Hello Everyone!

Thanks for taking a few minutes to click on this page and hear what I have to say. Ryan and Helen Zeringue are dear friends to me and my wife Rachel.  Ryan and I became close when he lived in Washington during his high school years. Unfortunately, his family had to relocate to his home state of Louisiana just before his senior year of high school, so our friendship has had to endure long distance for the last 9 years. Ryan is the most genuine, generous person I know. He made it back to be a part of all of my wedding festivities in 2015, from my bachelor party all the way to my wedding. He and Helen are wonderful parents to their son Dylan, who just turned 6 years old.

This past weekend, Ryan and Helen's Baton Rouge LA home was ravaged by flood waters that they never expected could ever come. The home is not in a flood plain so the damage is not covered by flood insurance.

They have lost a large portion of their furniture, clothing, and other personal belongings to this disaster. While they are expecting to receive some FEMA relief, they will undoubtedly have to pay out of pocket for a substantial amount of the damage. I am still gathering facts on how much damage there is and and how much relief they will receive from elsewhere, but I would love to see our community come up with some cash to send down to this dedicated, loving family.

Remember, there is no such thing as a donation too small. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
