Ryan Hoffman's Eagle Scout Project

My name is Ryan Hoffman and I have been in Scouts since the first grade and now I am proud to be working on my Eagle Scout Project. I will be building a Gaga Pit for the St. Norbert School playground. Sports have been a big part of my life growing up and I went to grade school at St.Norbert. I wanted to give back to the community that gave me so much. I need to purchase wood, brackets, stain and mulch to complete my project. The Gaga Pit will be handicap accessible for all to enjoy. Gaga is a fast paced, high energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The more players the better! Dubbed a kinder gentler version of dodge ball, the game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players need to keep moving to avoid getting hit by the ball. Fun for all!
