RYAN FORD'S ROAD TO RECOVERY

On August 9th 2016, Ryan Ford was in a severe mountain bike accident. He was airlifted to a Regional Trauma Center and remains in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. He suffered a major break in his skull (back of the skull down his nose and under eyes) along with 15+ other breaks/fractures in his skull as well as a break of the upper jaw and nose.

Ryan suffered the loss of his peripheral vision and has very limited frontal view vision. In addition, he has other damaged areas and nerves which affect the body mechanics and responses. Ryan is pending being transferred to a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation center once he is medically stabilized. And then we are unsure what the next steps will be as it is one day at a time from here - at this point we can hope that with time and love he will heal.

Per the request of several supporters, this account has been setup to offer financial support from the sidelines and help ease the extreme financial burden that Ryan will be facing during his journey to recovery.  Ryan is a fighter and has an amazing support team of his family and friends behind him. Ryan, Sabrina and Gina can never express in words enough their sincere appreciation of everyone sending their love, prayers and support his way. Ryan has a long and challenging road ahead but is making progress each and every day - if anyone can come back from this swinging he can - Godspeed Ahead!
