Ryan Duke

Ryan Duke, or “DJ R.Y.A.N”, as he’s known by his family and friends, was a caring and loving father to a phenomenal 12 year old boy and beautiful 3 month old baby girl. All who knew him will tell you how loving he was and what a big heart he had. His great sense of humour was shared as he would console you in times of need by putting a smile on your face.
Ryan had many passions; music, sports and family. His music reached many, whether you’re in your car listening to his latest mix or on the dance floor enjoying every track he dropped. His obsession for music will be continued by his son, who inherited his musical genes. Ryan was extremely proud of Brandans achievements. Ryan was also a competitive athlete who participated in many community sports; he played soft-ball, hockey, cricket and bowling. Our Ryan was a winner! He loved life but most of all he was passionate about his two beautiful children, Brandan and Jazmyn. The love Ryan has for his children will carry on within them forever.

Unexpectedly, Ryan felt ill, drove himself to the hospital and was admitted to the ICU fighting for his life on Monday, November 19. His courageous fight ended on Wednesday November 28th 2018. Even in his passing he has continued to help others with his organs being donated. His kids and family are staying strong during this time, but they need our help now. Due to his diabetes he was unable to secure life insurance for himself. This leaves his two children with financial instability.

We are asking on behalf of his family for people of all denominations and faiths to stand together with them.

At this time we also ask that you reach out and help the entire Duke family, who have been through so much to get through this incredibly difficult time. Any financial support that you can offer will go directly to a trust for his children. The goal of this fund is to provide the children with a more secure future through an education.
