Service Learning Trip to Guatemala!

AZ Academy's students are going on a service learning trip to Guatemala in May! While there, they will explore the culture and history of the country, complete a community service project, and take Spanish lessons.
Students will be working with a group called Transitions Foundation. It is the only manufacturer of wheelchairs and prosthetics in the entire country, serving impoverished clients who otherwise would not have the gift of mobility. Our group will help make wheelchairs and will work and play with kids in the special education class run by TF.
