Hello family and friends!
I have recently been presented with an amazing opportunity to travel to Honduras with Rutgers Global Brigades (Business) in May of 2018.
Global Brigades is a nonprofit organization that partners with impoverished communities in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana to work towards sustainable development! We work on various different projects ranging from building water pipelines to educating communities about financial literacy.
To further the goal of sustainable development, our brigade will be focusing on providing business and micro-finance consulting. Together, we will teach an impoverished community about financial literacy and common business practices. We will also work directly to create/maintain a community bank and/or optimize certain aspects of local businesses (mainly agricultural businesses).
I am incredibly excited for this opportunity to assist others in under-resourced communities while applying and expanding my own business knowledge.
In preparation for this brigade, I need your help! I would appreciate any donations that you are able to make to help me fund this program. No donation is too small!
