Running to end Domestic Violence

In the UK there is a call to the police about domestic violence every minute.
Izzy and Colette are running the Manchester 10k on the 19th May 2019 to raise money for Preston Domestic Violence Services. PDVS are a small local charity in Preston providing a friendly, welcoming space for victims of domestic violence. For many victims in Preston PDVS is a lifeline providing vital services when these victims are at crisis point. Victims seeking support from PDVS are often distraught, desperate and fear for their safety, and sometimes their lives and the lives of their children. PDVS helps victims take those first steps on the road to a new life, for a whole family- free of regular beatings, injury, intimidation, isolation and humiliation.
We are hoping to raise £200 which will fund services for PDVS for a whole day.
Regardless of the amount, a donation towards a day’s running cost is an incredible way to make sure victims can continue to get help and support.
