Running for Fertility

Donation protected
I have been battling with Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome (PCOS) for a number of years which has greatly impacted upon my fertility. After numerous failed fertility treatments, I was told my best chance was to lose weight.

To help motivate me, my younger sister challenged me to run the VHI Mini Marathon as well as write about on the blog that she and one of her good friend's, Princess Bitch Mittens. The blog is a collective of badass women taking on life, fitness and sports.

Giving that my issues with my fertility has been on the current fitness path, I thought it would only be fitting that the charity I chose to run for in the mini marathon be the National Infertility Support and Information Group.

The National Infertility Support and Information Group do exactly what it says on the tin. They provide people like me who are dealing with sub-fertility and infertility. They provide support groups in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Portloaise and they also support phone number that is available 24/7.  To find out more about the National Infertility Support and Information Group check out their website .

You can also follow my progress on the Princess Bitch Mittens website
