Hi all, we are a group of girls who separately joined Emer O'Brien's running class in Piltown back in April with the aim of being able to run a full 5K.
Over the weeks we have trained together outside of the class and we are now here running 5K, what next?
"Let's run the Woman's Mini Marathon"
Yes it's short notice but we're going to give it a go and help a cause.
Cuan Saor (Safe Haven) was established in 1994 to offer support to women who were experiencing domestic violence. The refuge provides short term accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic violence. No only that, they also provide Counselling, Court Accompaniment, Aftercare and much more.
So please help us raise a few pound for this fantastic organization. Doesn't have to be much, just what you can afford.
