Runge Family Recovery Fund

Donation protected
For those of you that don't know, on Saturday evening, March 11, 2017, the Runges' Reinbeck, Iowa, home was destroyed in a fire.
Thankfully, the family was not home at the time. They are healthy and safe, for which we thank our loving Heavenly Father!
However, their home, and everything in it, is a total loss. I am hoping that we, their friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and church family, can bless them in their time of need.
Mike and Liz have homeowners' insurance, but they will still need help with the many expenses associated with rebuilding their home and replacing their belongings.
Some may be asking, "Why are we doing this if they have insurance?" The short answer to that question is, becuase we LOVE them. We want the Runges to be able to focus on rebuilding their home and taking care of their three kids; Ellery (4), Benji (2), and Judah (3 months).
Many of you know Mike and Liz through Mike's years teaching at Valley Lutheran and now North Tama Schools, through Trinity Bible Church, through their time at Lampost Theater, or from their childhood or college days. If you know them, you understand how deserving they are of our help. They are so generous with their time and talents, pouring into the lives of others, whether it be Liz encouraging fellow moms or blessing others with her beautiful voice, Mike teaching and serving as a leader in Trinity's youth group, or just the way they parent their kids. They are an encouragement to lots of people and now it is our turn to bless them!
Any amount of money will help as they encounter many unexpected expenses through this process. We are so grateful to all who choose to donate. Rest assured knowing your money will be greatly appreciated and responsibly spent to help the Runges recover from this devestating loss.
We have heard Mike and Liz mention many times over the last couple of days how thankful they are for the safety of their children and each other. God protected their family and we praise Him for taking such good care of them. Even though the Runges are walking through a time of grief and confusion, they continue to thank the Lord for His faithfulness and provision.
Thank you for joining with us to help bring them through this.
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness." -Lamentations 3:22-23
