Run to raise 4 Animal SOS Sri Lanka

So as you all know, as an animal lover and (very) amateur runner, I am strapping on my runners and gettin' these legs to pound the pavement for my first half marathon to raise funds for Animal SOS Sri Lanka.
While travelling in Sri Lanka earlier this year, I visited Animal SOS after becoming acutely aware of the many, many stray dogs and the dire situations they live in, ill health and horrific injuries they sustain on the busy roads of Sri Lanka.
Animal SOS is an incredible charity, where staff work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of stray animals in Sri Lanka by providing life-saving veterinary care, rehabilitation, homing, refuge, and de-sexing and rabies vaccinations, and education programs.
After that visit, seeing the kindness, trust, and hope in those dog's faces, and hearing their stories, I vowed I would support this charity!
Whatever you can contribute, I would be incredibly thankful for, and it will bring an extra spring in my tired legs as I stagger to the end..... thanks everyone!
