Hello family and friends,
I've created this GoFundMe account to raise money for the funeral expenses for my brother Rudy Molina. He was wrongfully shot and killed by a police officer on June 3rd inside of his home in Jurupa Valley. He leaves behind 6 children and his family.
As of right now, we do not have the full details of the case. The police are trying to cover their tracks, but, we are piecing it together by speaking to neighbors and witnesses and know that this shooting was unwarranted. The police and news reports are going to make Rudy the villain and deny police brutality. Anyone who knew him will know this to be untrue.
He was the rock for his family and stayed strong for them through hard times. He was extremely selfless, always putting others before him to ensure their happiness and safety. Unbeknownst to us, though, Rudy had been quietly dealing with depression in recent months. We ask that if anyone spoke to Rudy or knew what he was dealing with, to please come forward and provide any information.
My brother Rudy was a good person. Everyone loved to be around him and his energy. He had a rough past but Rudy was working his hardest to turn his life around. He was working steadily as an automotive repair technician from morning to night to provide for his children and buy a house for his family. He was also attending automotive repair classes to further his credentials.
We are completely in shock that this happened. Any donations (whether it be big or small), kind words, or prayers for our family are extremely helpful. If you cannot donate, we ask that you please share and keep Rudy in your thoughts. He did not deserve to die this way.
