Ruth Dennis Liver Transplant Fund

Ruthie was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis of the liver 20+ years ago and was told she'd need a liver transplant within 10 years.  Ruthie has managed to extend that 10 year estimate to 20+ years but now requires the transplant.

Sue will be Ruthie's living donor and is married to Ruthie's niece, Chris.  Together they have one biological child and two children they are fostering hoping to adopt. 

The transplant operation is currently scheduled for August 6, 2018.  Both Ruthie and Sue will incur many expenses due to being out of work and travel and hotel expenses.

Donations received help to defray the costs of travel, hotel and loss of wages for both families.

Families would also appreciate gas cards and Giant Eagle grocery store cards to assist with transportation and food costs.
