Blue Bunny Movie

What if you lost the most important thing in your life? And what if that loss was due to your own actions? When Blue Bunny's embittered ex-con Shane tells Maria, a young woman who has lost her child, that he can't find peace, her response  "you're not looking hard enough" speaks to the need for tenacity in survival of the human spirit even, and especially, under the worst imaginable circumstances.  

Blue Bunny is a short film about transformation through empathy and survival of the spirit. Writer Jenni Prange Boran met director Rick Walters at the Destiny City Film Festival in 2014 where the script took First Place in the screenwriting competition and where Rick was selected by the festival as director of the staged reading. Rick Walters compiled an amazing cast that moved the audience in such a way that Rick and Jenni decided to take the next step and bring the story to a larger audience. Through film.
