Christina's Car Seat Fund

My name is Derek. My daughter Christina is a 9 year old who is quickly out-growing her car seat. I currently transport in a standard car seat. Even the largest child car seats do not accomodate Christina's height especially with her back brace. Christina's spine curves more than it should and now and she must wear her back brace all day.

I'm asking for help raising money to purchase an adapted car seat that will fit Christina now and for several years. As with all adapted equipment it is expensive. Insurance does not cover the car seat. Various groups help to cover a portion of the cost, but not all.

I have done research looking at various brands and models. From what I have found, the best solution that will last for many years and will be the most versatile is the Special Tomato car seat.

The money will be used to purchase a Special Tomato car seat so I can rest easy knowing Chrisitna is in a car seat that she fits safely in.
