Brian's funeral fund

My father passed away on bonfire night,  9 weeks ago he was at work. He had what we thought was a stroke and was rushed into hospital,  where he was diagnosed with terminal end stage brain cancer. No-one, including him, expected him to die aged 60, so there were no provisions in place for his funeral.  I have been by his side every day since he was diagnosed and would like to send him off and say goodbye with the same love and care I've given him in his final days,  the problem is this costs money. I don't want whistles and bells, but the cheapest funeral is £3400. Any help, however small, is really gratefully received.
