RPHS Music Fundraiser

Music is an important part of life. From the moment we are born we are surrounded by music; whether it be the singing of birds outside of our windows, or the mobile playing nursery rhymes over our heads as we sleep. As we get older music takes different meaning to different people. It is the football team's motivational boost, the dancer's heartbeat, and the shy girl's sanctuary. Regardless of what it means to you, it impacts each person's life. That being said, we are on a mission to keep it that way.
Ridgefield Park, like most public school districts, has a certain budget to work with year after year. With funding going to every bit of the school, from arts to sports, the money is spread across the board. We're here to help out.
Growing up in Ridgefield Park, we have been in these programs since our elementary school days at Lincoln School. We have grown as musicians and as people in general, and we feel that it is now the time to give back to the program that has given us so much. With that being said, it is very important to us that these programs stay strong to benefit other students as they have benefited us.
That is why we are organizing our first annual fundraising concert in Veteran’s Park on July 16th to save this program from the possibility of extinction. It is our mission to keep the music flowing in Ridgefield Park High School for many years to come, and the first step is making this fundraiser a reality. We would greatly appreciate any monetary donations that would help us get this off the ground. We need your generous donations to fund the stage, backline, sound system, and some other basic expenses. Thank you so much, and please share this to get the word out!
