Send Maddie to Parsons School of Design
The Big News
Our senior High School student Maddie Remy is about to graduate high school and has received a terrific opportunity to attend college at Parsons School of Design, at The New School, to study art for four years and major in Illustration. Parsons reviewed her application and portfolio and also awarded Maddie the prestigious Deans Scholarship!!! We are so very proud of her!
Parsons has also asked for tuition and dorm housing expenses beyond the amount that we, her parents, have been able to set aside, mostly due to high medical expenses, even with the terrific and generous merit scholarship award. We believe wholeheartedly that Maddie’s artistic and academic talents can be nurtured well at The New School and she will have the chance to dive deep. Would you like to congratulate Maddie and help offset the cost of her education to close the gap? Any amount is appreciated to show your support. :)

Perhaps you appreciated her volunteering at our local library or during a local flash flood making sand bags and shoveling rock in her yellow rain boots before DPW arrived? Perhaps you recall reading some of her poems or short stories? Perhaps you remember her pet sitting for you? Perhaps you enjoyed her singing the National Anthem at the Giants game with her HMS chorus? Perhaps you enjoyed seeing her daily sketchbook? Perhaps you enjoyed her marvelous apple pie? If so, please contribute to this education campaign and help a Northern California born and raised student go ahead with her college dreams. Below is just one example of Maddie’s paintings before it was mounted for a pre-college group show at the California College of the Arts. Sometimes it takes a community to accomplish a goal.
