Rowin with my Homies for Special Olympics Arkansas

SO-ROW - Rowing for a Reason is an annual event hosted by Crossfit Maumelle to raise funds to support Arkansas Special Olympic Athletes with expenses associated with traveling and competing in the USA Games. Each year I enter a team because I believe in the worth that organized sports provides a person and EVERY PERSON deserves the opportunity to compete in athletics! This relationship between Crossfit Maumelle and Special Olympics Arkansas means even more to me now since we welcomed our 2nd Daughter in March, Tessa Belle, who was diagnosed with Down Syndrome.  Two of my favorite things have collided - fitness and my child.  One day, organizations like Special Olympics Arkansas will support my child’s interests in athletics, allow opportunities for self worth, and give her an avenue to experience all the life lessons that come from the hard work and determination it takes to be an athlete!  Please consider donating to sponsor Rowin’ With My Homies’ campaign.
