Row Huntsville Fundraiser - Youth Program
Row Huntsville Youth Rowing programs serve youth participants from over 12 regional Middle Schools and High Schools, Home Schools, and different athletic backgrounds. We offer a variety of programs to match skill level and competitive interest. Whether you desire to be a nationally competitive athlete or have never done anything athletic you are welcome in one of our programs!

The Olympic Sport of Rowing is a very expensive sport to operate and maintain, but the rewards of discipline, teamwork and character development are well worth the cost. Every year our program has athletes competing at the national level and earning collegiate rowing scholarships.
Examples of our expenses:
· 8 person racing shell can cost up to $40k.
· Oar set $4000.
· Safety Launches - Coaching...$4000.
· Outboard Motors: $2000-$5000
· Special trailers to get equipment to races $20k.
· Racing Electronics $500-2500
The purpose and goal of this Fundraiser is to offset the overwhelming cost of our equipment and facility. Funds donated will be used for purchasing, repairing and restoring equipment during the 2018 fiscal year.
Our Mission Statement:
· To develop middle and high school youth, through the competitive sport of rowing, into young men and women of character, honor, and integrity.
· To provide a program that fosters personal and team success defined by performing to our maximum potential, as individuals and a team. Through this success, we will create opportunities for collegiate scholarships and other post-secondary school achievements.
· To develop lifelong friendships, healthy lifestyles and model citizens in the youth who pass through our program. Create a sense of community, foster healthy competition, instill values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and commitment. Create a culture of excellence that will carry on throughout life.
Our Youth Rowing Program seeks, as its primary goal, to create the opportunity for personal growth in young men and women through the sport of competitive rowing. Participation in our programs will not only introduce athletes to rowing and fitness; but ultimately to themselves, as they strive to define their potential and place in this world. Their paths will be directly influenced by the hard work, discipline and goal setting skills they developed while being involved with our team. Above all, we believe participation in our Youth Rowing Program will bring opportunity for our athletes to advance to distinguished Colleges and Universities, create successful careers and have fulfilling personal lives
