This fund was created for our friends and colleagues, Adam and Gillian Ginesi and their daughter Roux.
Roux is an active and spirited 2-year old and the big sister to Silvio, born March 2018.
Roux was diagnosed in January 2019 with hepatoblastoma (a rare form of Liver cancer). The cancer has metastasized and has spread to her lungs resulting in a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer.
She will be receiving 10 chemotherapy treatments at Sick Kids Hospital (in Toronto) over the next 20 weeks along with surgery to remove the primary tumor.
While the treatments are funded by OHIP, there are many associated costs that are not covered. We are seeking donations to alleviate the stress of the costs associated with the travel, parking, food, babysitting, etc.
